Survival trekking in the Sierra de Albarracín
Discover and explore a primordial territory, which will take you along paths leading to a rocky world, where the wild strength of the Celtiberian people still echoes.
We will accompany you on a journey where we will cross meadows, ravines and forests, walking upon the red rock of the rodeno. By being discreet and quiet we will be able to observe abundant wild fauna.
A unique experience available to those who venture into this wild terrain, on foot, quietly and freely.
We’ll also visit picturesque mountain villages nestled in this vast territory. Here you will be able to feel the silence and the tranquillity of a world with little human presence.

Where does the crossing take place?
Sierra de Albarracín

What are we going to do?
We will do a self-sufficient trek that can range from 1 to 3 nights.
We will spend a few nights in a mountain refuge, around a campfire, as well as in sites that offer ideal conditions for a light bivouac with a tent. We will light a camp stove to heat up dinner and make some tea before going to bed. Preparing coffee in the morning is also essential.
We like to walk with small groups to enhance group cohesion and to have a friendler and more intimate feel, as well as to avoid disturbing the sense of calm, tranquillity and wild spirit of the environment.
We also want to ensure that we have a lower impact, greater manoeuvrability and simpler and lighter dynamics.
We will walk with a small backpack, which will allow us to carry our basic personal material and some food. Learning about and working on our ability to feel free and autonomous in the mountains will form part of the experience.
Program
Considering that there are many different route options in the mountains, we have not wanted to establish standard itineraries for all groups. Therefore, the stages for the survival crossing are completely personalized based on the characteristics of each group.

In our experience as mountaineers, the level of demand is set by each person. If you have a minimum level of physical fitness, desire and motivation, you can come with us.
However, we must be aware of our own capabilities and not underestimate the demands of a trek, remembering that sleeping in the forest is an experience that requires greater adaptability to the natural environment.
